Rivers Casino General Manager Bill Keena said Wednesday that they have already been working on making sure they are fully compliant with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board protocols for casino reopenings. ![]() The casino said it will perform deep-cleaning during its closing hours to minimize the risks of having staff or guests exposed to the dangerous coronavirus. The gambling venue will welcome guests from 9 am to 4 am on weekdays and will be open all night on weekends until 4 am on Mondays. ![]() Rivers Casino said Wednesday in a statement on its parent company’s website that it would resume operations at 9 am Tuesday, June 9. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh and the Meadows Racetrack & Casino were the first Pennsylvania gambling venues to announce a reopening date nearly three months after they were ordered to close in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. ![]()
